Optional: After the 1994 genocide left more than one million people dead and countless exiled, the people of Rwanda began picking up the pieces of their broken nation, returning to their fields and businesses and working to support their families.
In order to provide our guests with a better understanding of the breadth of the issues faced by Rwandans post genocide, Amahle works with a variety of NGOs who specialize in Rwandan microfinance. By partnering with these organizations, we are able to deliver a firsthand experience around how micro lending helps to increase incomes, rural expansion, job creation and holistic transformation.
